A company known for its vegan ‘fast slow food’ is launching its third outlet in August in Hong Kong.
MANA!, whose mission is to ‘inspire change by serving food that doesn’t cost the earth’, will open its new store on Starstreet Precinct.
The restaurant offers a full vegetarian menu, with largely vegan options.

According to the outlet, it serves whole-foods, ‘served fast, in an eco-friendly and responsible manner, packaged and ready to go’.
The first MANA! Central branch on Wellington Street has proved popular, serving more than 500 people daily, with the second outlet in Sheung Wan becoming a popular weekend spot.
The newest store will be a 1,600 square-foot flagship outlet offering coffee, burgers, and organic alcoholic drinks among other options.
‘Food revolution’
“We’re ready to build upon our success as a brand and embark beyond Central and Sheung Wan to bring our food revolution to Admiralty, Wanchai, and beyond,” Bobsy Gaia, founder of MANA!, said in a statement sent to Plant Based News.
“With MANA! Starstreet, we’re excited to join Swire Properties’ vision to transform the area into a wellness and sustainability destination. I have personally waited for this moment for a very long time, since I pulled out of LIFE (Café) circa 2009.
“MANA! has always played a unique role in Hong Kong with its emphasis on solid vibes, holistic atmosphere and cultural community. Finally, with a larger space, we can bring these to the fore of what we offer & allow many more people to enjoy our MANA! vibes.”
