Vegan fast food restaurant Earth Burger will open its third Midwest location on August 13.

The outlet, in the Mall of America, will offer a variety of plant-based and certified kosher items with additional gluten-free options. Originally vegetarian, the chain ditched all animal products in 2017, to go fully-vegan.

Food on offer will include fish-less sandwiches, grilled chik’n protein wraps, BBQ sandwiches and the Earth Burger. Sides include fries, kale salads, apple slices and organically sweetened sodas.

‘Something for everyone’

Carrie Charleston, VP of Leasing at Mall of America, said: “There is something for everyone here. We’re pleased that our veggie and kosher guests will have even more delicious choices to enjoy.”

Earth Burger Owner, Chef Mike Behrend, added: “All of us at Earth Burger are excited to bring tasty plant powered fast food to our friends in Texas. Vegans, vegetarians and meat-eaters alike will love our take on healthier burgers, shakes and fries.”

The chain was launched after raising $43K on crowdfunding platform Kickstarter.
