Chicago will become home to the first Midwestern location of West Coast-based vegan fast food chain Veggie Grill.

The outlet will be opened in the Lakeview/Lincoln Park neighborhood.

Expansion

Veggie Grill CEO Steve Heeley said: “We are thrilled to introduce Veggie Grill to the Chicago community and we couldn’t be more excited to have our first location be opening in Lakeview. This is such a lively and accessible neighborhood and we can’t wait for locals and visitors alike to experience Veggie Grill.”

Veggie Grill, which was the first eatery to add the famous plant-based Beyond Burger to its menu, currently has 28 locations across California, Washington and Oregon.

CEO Steve Heeley has plans to add to these outlets, with more branches opening in Chicago and the East Coast.
