An award-winning vegan fashion brand, which has received approval from a slew of vegan celebs including Joaquin Phoenix and Alan Cumming, says it is struggling to survive due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Brave GentleMan, founded by fashion author and entrepreneur Joshua Katcher, has extended its sale to Fall 2020 in a bid to boost sales and prevent shutting down.
The brand’s previous season shoes and boots are currently on sale with up to 50 percent off – with options for flat-rate shipping worldwide. Customers can also pre-order the upcoming Fall collection at 25 percent off for a limited time.
‘Big discounts’
In a statement sent to Plant Based News, Katcher said: “A pre-order is a win-win. By ordering before we begin manufacturing these new styles, you get a big discount and become sort of an investor since we use the money you pay now to fund production.
“This minimizes waste and guarantees you won’t miss out on getting a pair in your size.”
‘Determined’
Katcher continued: “I’ve thrived even after two thefts, a fire that destroyed a whole season of inventory resulting in temporary homelessness, a subway stop shutdown one block from my brick-and-mortar, and more.
“These aren’t stories I’ve ever shared publicly because I never wanted success from sympathy. I’m just saying that entrepreneurs are used to a fight, and I’m determined to not let this virus take my business out.”
