Prolific vegan entrepreneur Loui Blake is opening a three-storey plant-based cafe, restaurant and bar in Norwich.

Erpingham House, located at 22 Tombland, will open over the weekend of May 26-27

It will house a cafe serving hot drinks, juices and lunch, as well as a restaurant with becomes a cocktail bar at night.

Blake, who is originally from Norwich, conceived the idea after struggling to ‘equally enjoyable and nutritious’ food as a vegan.

He said: “The menu is entirely free-from animal products and mostly gluten-free. It offers a healthier, more conscious way to eat and drink out.

“Seeing the building and knowing its history, I wanted to restore it in a way that breathed new life into it and offer something new to the city.”
