Chain restaurant YO! Sushi will be launching new plant-based dishes next month to celebrate Veganuary.

The restaurant, which is known for its Japanese street food and sushi, will be rolling out new vegan options – all priced at £2.80 – for ‘both vegan eaters across the UK, and those who want to kick-start their New Year resolutions by joining Veganuary’, according to a spokesperson.

Yo! Sushi joins Lebanese chain eatery Comptoir Libanais, which is also releasing a vegan menu in celebration of Veganuary next month.

Dishes

New vegan options at YO! will include the Green Gyoza – spinach dumplings filled with veggies – and the Agedashi Tofu, a hot tofu dish with daikon, ginger, spring onion, and topped with Ponzu sauce.

YO! Sushi is also introducing Spicy Cauliflower to the menu – crispy cauliflower marinated in a light spice, garnished with red chilli, and spring onions.

Current vegan-friendly dishes include the Vegetable Yakisoba, the popular Pumpkin Katsu and PETA’s Best Vegan Curry winner, Tofu Katsu Curry.

YO!’s £2.80 menu will be available Monday to Friday from the January 1-19 and available at selected sites throughout the UK.
