UK food brand Gosh! has released more than 15 products as part of its plant-based food offering, available in many supermarkets.

The line, which included falafels, sausages, and bakes, is free from the top 14 allergens such as dairy, soya and nuts.

The company credits increased awareness of the effects of the meat industry on the environment for many people choosing to ditch animal products.

Certified

According to a spokesperson: “The Gosh! range can be enjoyed as a cold on-the-go snack or heated up.

“The whole Gosh! range is as transparent as glass with absolutely nothing hidden and everything on show – which is why the range is fully registered by the Vegetarian, Vegan, Coeliac and Kosher food societies.”

Environment

They added: “The trays we use are typically made up of 70 percent recycled material and we have been awarded the ‘Zero waste to landfill’ recognition.

“We are also proud to have received a Greener Path Award for ‘Zero Waste to landfill’ issued by ACM Environmental PLC. This award is to celebrate the great work businesses across the UK are doing in reducing the impact they have on the environment.

“Gosh! has fully optimised the diversion of waste from landfill and has demonstrated clear further commitments towards the ongoing goal of ‘Zero Landfill’.”
