A slew of medical professionals – including a number of plant-based physicians and other health experts are to attend a UK conference on nutrition in medicine to bring together ‘leaders in the field with the most up to date science and clinical practice’.
Created by Plant-Based Health Professionals UK, the event features guest speakers including Dr. Caldwell Esselstyn and his wife Ann from the The Cleveland Clinic Wellness among others.
‘Q&A panel’
The event, which takes place at King’s College Hospital in London, covers topics such as ‘How to keep your brain young’, ‘The Nutritional Reversal of Cardiovascular Disease’, ‘Farming for a plant-based food system’, and a Q&A panel.
A plant-based lunch and refreshments will be provided, and guests are encouraged to bring their own reusable mugs and water bottles.
There will also be a seperate event on May 17 in London for the general public, where Dr Esselstyn will also be speaking. Futher details have yet to be announced.
The event runs from 8.30am-6pm on Saturday, May 16. Tickets, which range from £60-£85, can be bought here
