According to cosmetologists it’s been a struggle over the years to come up with a formula for mascara which is bee’s wax free.
Here we are in early 2019 and it seems over the past six months vegan mascara is just getting better and better.
I am sure you will agree this is music to our ears, it’s amazing how much better you feel when your lashes are long and luscious. So here I present to you – A guide to the top tried and tested mascaras from a vegan make-up artist (me).
1. Better Than Sex by Too Faced (£23)
It says it all in the name. This mascara has been sent from the gods.
It has everything you could need from a mascara, not only does it thicken and lengthen it also has curling properties to open your eyes wider. It also comes with an hourglass-shaped brush which really helps to load the mascara on-resulting in BIG lashes.
2. #LashGoals by Lottie London (£6.95)
#LashGoals by Lottie London is super cheap and cheerful at just £6.95 it really is worth more.
This mascara has been developed to be clump free – and it really does create beautifully defined elegant lashes creating a long-lasting classy look. It is also gluten-free.
3. It’s A Long Story by Arbonne (£31)
The Arbonne mascara really is a lash treatment and a mascara in one! Not only does it give you long and defined lashes but it is also packed full of nutrients to nourish your peepers.
Arbonne has conjured up this beauty with ingredients such as bamboo, pea protein, amino acids and B5 which are all designed to condition and strengthen your lashes.
4. Long Lash by Inika (£23)
Available in brown and black, we present to you Long lash by Inika. Made with 100 percent plant-based and natural ingredients this mascara works wonderfully and is not compromised by the fact it has no synthetic elements.
The brush is long and thin making it easy to apply without getting smudgy lids.
The Cosmetics A’La Carte Mascara comes with a feathery yet chunky brush. This kind of brush enables lots of mascara to be loaded onto your lashes and then can be combed through with the feathery bristles to give a fat lash effect without the clumps.
It’s also free from nasties such as parabens, carbon and artificial fragrance which could be good to try for those of you with sensitive eyes.
