Fast food Tex Mex chain Chipotle is currently testing a vegan quinoa option.

The mix is currently being tested at the chain’s test kitchen in New York City.

As yet it is unclear as to whether the option will be rolled out nationwide.

Entree

According to Chipotle spokesperson Chris Arnold: “The quinoa is made with red and gold quinoa tossed with a little citrus juice, cumin, and freshly chopped cilantro.

“We are recommending that the quinoa should be added to a salad or in place of rice in another entree.”

The chain is expected to announce whether the dish will roll out further in due course.
