TEDx – the explosively popular series of speaking events aimed at sharing ideas through ‘short, powerful talks’ – will be hosting a fully vegan event in Vancouver next month.

Plant-based

Recipe creator and local food blogger Erin Ireland has taken to Instagram to share the news – with a picture of herself and locally made banana bread, which will be served at the event.

She wrote that the conference will be ‘100 percent plant-based’ – right down to the coffee creamer.

Offerings

Ireland noted that local bakery To Die For will be providing baked goods for the event, while So Nice will provide a soy coffee creamer.

The event webpage says that breakfast, snacks, coffee, lunch, and samples will be provided to attendees throughout the day.

The event will take place September 8, with doors opening at 8:30 am and the event coming to an end at 6:30 with a speaker meet and greet and book signing.
