High street drugstore Superdrug will open a vegan-only outlet this Spring.

Its Little Vegan Pop Up Shop will open in Boxpark, in London’s Shoreditch on March 21.

Among the items on sale will be vegan and cruelty free makeup, skincare, grooming and beauty accessories.

According to the store, there has been a surge in demand for vegan-friendly beauty products in recent times.

‘Embraced’

Simon Comins, Superdrug Commercial Director, said: “We’ve embraced the vegan movement at Superdrug and are delighted that we now offer a thousand products under our own label.

“Vegan customers can come into store and pick up everything they need from hair products to foot spray and everything in between.”

Formulations

He added: “Our technical team are constantly evolving formulations and meeting technical challenges to make products suitable for vegans.

“Coupled with our commitment to cruelty free beauty, everything in our own brand beauty and toiletries range carries the leaping bunny symbol of Cruelty Free International, our customers tell us that they’ve come to rely on our stores for our own brand products.”
