Starbucks is planning to launch vegan whipped cream in its U.K outlets in October, according to Vegan Food UK.

Vegan Food UK is an online organization sharing vegan food news, reviews, vlogs, and more. It operates across multiple social media platforms, with a Facebook group, Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Instagram account.

Whipped cream

It revealed the news in an Instagram post shared with its some 127,000 followers.

The organization wrote: “October will see the launch of vegan whipped cream at Starbucks U.K.

“‘Finally’, we hear you say. But let’s hope it stays, because we need vegan whipped cream atop lattes and hot chocolates.”

‘What a time to be alive’

The news was met with excitement from many of Vegan Food U.K’s followers.

One wrote: “God, vegan Mr. Whippy, vegan whipped cream, what a time to be alive! I’m gonna need bigger jeans.”

Another simply said: “It’s time.”
