Roxy Pope and Ben Pook, aka the masterminds behind So Vegan, have launched a charity ebook titled The Lockdown Cookbook.
To download the ebook, fans have to make a donation to the couple’s fundraiser. 100 percent of the money raised will be donated to three charities supporting frontline workers: Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), NHS Charities Together, and UNICEF.
So Vegan has already exceeded its target fundraising goal of £5,000 – raising more than £6,000 ($7,422) at the time of writing.
Keeping ‘spirits up’
“Like so many others, we’ve spent the past few weeks trying to think of ways we can do our bit to help support people working in frontline services during the COVID-19 pandemic. So we’ve created a charity eBook!” the pair said.
“The Lockdown Cookbook is a compilation of 10 fresh-and-exciting recipes that we’ve developed using cupboard staples and supermarket-friendly ingredients. These recipes are designed to keep your spirits up and bellies full during these strange times…
“We’re blessed to have such an incredible following from people all over the world, so we wanted to do something which brings our global community together and unites everyone during this difficult period.”
