Upmarket department store Selfridges has launched the UK’s biggest vegan chocolate counter.

The counter offers more than 20 different handmade chocolates, all created by Brighton-based Be Chocolat by Michel Clement.

Flavors include almond praline squares dipped in chocolate, peanut butter truffles, chocolate with vegan caramel and honeycomb rock dipped in dark chocolate among others.

‘Bucket list’

News of the counter was met with support on social media, with one Instagram user saying: “Looks good and proves that retail is alive and well in Food Halls.”

Another added: “I need to put this on my bucket list!”

A third simply said: “It is definitely a dream.”

The counter is located on the Lower Ground floor of Selfridges London store.
