International wine supplier Broadland Wineries has officially launched a fully vegan range.

The new selection, made in Chile and branded Proudly Vegan, is certified by The Vegan Society and designed to be totally free of animal byproducts ‘right down to the ink & glue on the label’.

Offerings

The brand currently offers a sauvignon blanc, rosé, and merlot, all of which contain 12 percent alcohol by volume.

The company webpage describes the sauvignon blanc as ‘a zesty and refreshing wine with tropical hints of passion fruit, gooseberry and lime’ and the merlot as having ‘cherry and plum flavours with hints of coffee and chocolate’.

While the current bottles are standard size, Proudly Vegan will also soon launch 187ml single-serve bottles.

The wines can currently be purchased online, through retailers Ocado and Amazon.
