Vegan pumpkin spice lattes are returning to Starbucks across the UK from September 5.
The popular Fall drink is usually served with cow’s milk and whipped cream. According to the coffee giant, vegans can make the drink suitable by opting for plant-based PSL sauce, using a milk alternative like oat or almond, and ditching the whipped cream.
This year, the PSL range has expanded to include Iced Pumpkin Spice Latte, Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino, and Iced Pumpkin Spice Cold Foam Macchiato

“With a combination of Starbucks Espresso Roast, pumpkin pie flavored sauce and steamed milk, and pumpkin pie spices – cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves – the PSL is set to get you craving cosy afternoons and wooly jumpers,” a Starbucks spokesperson said in a statement sent to Plant Based News.
“We all know Britain can throw us a curveball when it comes to the weather, so even if it’s too warm for the pump-king of lattes, Starbucks has you covered. The PSL can be enjoyed hot, iced, Frappuccino style or as an iced cold foam macchiato.”
