Plant-based physician and bestselling author Dr. Michael Greger talked about his upcoming weight loss book in yesterday’s monthly YouTube livestream.

Called How Not To Diet, the book is set to release in 2019 – and will follow Dr. Greger’s bestseller How Not To Die, and forthcoming How Not To Die Cookbook.

Announcement

Answering questions live on YouTube, the doctor behind NutritionFacts.org was asked about his fasting videos, which he has yet to upload on his channel.

“They’ll actually be pushed back even further,” he replied.

“I was going to put together dozens of videos on fasting, intermittent fasting, ketogenic diets, calorie restriction – and then: new book deal.

“I’m doing this new book, How Not To Diet, talking about weight control; manuscript is due March 2019.”

Dr. Greger then went on to say that he will have to give up ‘massive topics like fasting, and move to smaller, easier, scriptable topics’ during the time he will be writing the book.

He added: “If writing goes amazing, and I get this book done by the end of 2018, my priority will be both the fasting series, as well as ‘how to read a research paper’ series.”
