Plant-based doctor Joel Kahn will be expanding his vegan spot GreenSpace Café to fast-casual concept GreenSpace Grille & Go in the Royal Oak suburb of Detroit.
The cardiologist, who is also known as America’s Healthy Heart Doc, will be introducing the new eatery early 2018.
The restaurant will serve ready-to-go plant-based dishes, including creative burgers, tacos, bowls, salads, baked goods, and raw juices.

The ingredients will be sourced as ‘wholly, sustainably, and organically as possible, and contain no GMOs or preservatives’.
“‘Fast food’ and ‘healthy’ rarely occur in the same sentence, but that’s what we’re bringing to this busy stretch of Woodward,” said cardiologist Joel Kahn M.D.
Kahn, who also authored Dead Execs Don’t Get Bonuses and Your Whole Heart Solution, launched a vegan food truck named GreenSpace Jungle Truck this summer – which offers jackfruit-filled sliders, macaroni and cheese, and Mexican street corn, among other dishes.
