A vegan burrito featuring plant-based chicken is the second bestselling item at major chain Chilango.
The brand, which has 12 outlets across London and Birmingham, launched the wrap featuring plant-based chicken from This UK in July.
Since then, it has gone on to become one of the most popular items at the outlet, beaten only by chicken.

According to data from Chilango, the vegan chicken burrito had the highest first-week sales of any of its limited offer products ever launched.
“It is a phenomenal launch for Chilango, and we have been blown away by the response and feedback so far,” said Chilango marketing director Katie Lister.
“We are so excited to be working with the team at THIS, who have been great partners to collaborate with on launching this amazing product.”
Posting about the sales figures on social media, This UK wrote: “So we launched with Chilango UK a few weeks ago.
“But there’s big news from their HQ: the plant-based ‘THIS Isn’t Chicken’ burrito is their 2nd best-selling product after chicken, beating all other meats. BOOM.”
According to reports, Chilango’s vegan and vegetarian options now make up almost 20 percent of its main meal sales.
