A Pizza Hut spokesperson has contacted PBN to confirm that vegan cheese will roll out to its UK stores.
According to the spokesperson: “Pizza Hut Restaurants [PHR] has just announced the roll out of vegan cheese on its pizzas across all of its Huts from November 29, following the success of the initial trial and the huge customer demand for the product.
“PHR’s tasty dairy-free cheese alternative, Violife, will be available to order and enjoy on a pizza of your choice, from Margherita to Virtuous Veg – how GRATE (groan) is that?!
“Whether you’re vegan or on a lactose-free diet, now there is NO reason to miss out on a cheesy slice over a family lunch or on a pizza night out with friends. HIGH FIVE!”

“After an amazing customer response to our vegan cheese trial earlier this year, we’re pleased to announce that the dairy-free alternative will now be served in all of our restaurants nationwide and feature as a permanent fixture on our menus.
“We’re excited that all of our cheese-loving vegan customers will be able to grab a slice of the action and no longer have to miss out – we can’t wait to hear their thoughts!”
