Tea brand PG Tips has launched a blend designed for mixing with plant-based milk – making it the first major tea manufacturer to do so.

The blend – called ‘Perfect With Dairy Free’ will launch in the UK on March 5.

It is targeted at the growing vegan market and created to specifically complement soya or almond milks.

Great cuppa

A PG Tips spokesperson said: “When the PG tips team spoke to tea drinkers and heard that they weren’t able to get their hands on a tasty cuppa if they drink dairy alternatives, the PG tips master tea blender, Joyce, got hard to work.

“She tasted teas from over 20 origins in hundreds of different combinations.

“The result: a new truly tasty tea.”
