Oatly has launched a chilled Organic plant-based oat drink in Tesco stores across the U.K.

The Swedish Oat giant’s new product, which will launch in Sainsbury’s stores later this week, contains just four ingredients; organic oats, water, organic rapeseed oil, and a hint of sea salt.

According to Oatly, the drink is best in cereal, smoothies, and for drinking straight. The brands recommends its other products – including its chilled Whole, Semi, and Skinny oat drinks, or Barista Edition – for tea and coffee.

Helping people shift to plant-based

In a release sent to Plant Based News, Ishen Paran, General Manager at Oatly UK, said: “We’re really excited to expand our chilled family and bring an Organic oat drink into the range.

“Our chilled Organic oat drink is another example of how we are truly focused on helping people shift to a more plant-based lifestyle, by simply giving people more choice in order to easily switch from dairy to oat and reduce their impact on the planet in doing so. We’re grateful to our retail partners for continuing to provide us with national visibility.”
