Leading plant-based physician Dr. Neal Barnard is releasing a new vegan cookbook – with a focus on how to manage type 2 diabetes.
Dr. Barnard, the founder and president of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, has authored more than 70 scientific publications, as well as 19 books.
He announced the new book in a tweet.

According to the book’s publisher – Rochdale Books – the book offers an approach to managing diabetes that is ‘not based on pills or injections, but on food – the most delicious ‘prescription you could imagine’.
