Morrisons Launches £35 ‘Vegan Essentials’ Box Which Feeds 2 For A Week

Morrisons has launched a ‘vegan essentials box’ designed to feed two people for a week.

The UK supermarket says the £35 box will help people ‘enjoy a balanced vegan lifestyle at home’.

Food items in the box, which is available now, include wonky veg, Violife cheese, Alpro almond milk, and Meatless Farm meat among other foods.*

‘Balanced’

“Designed to feed two for a week, this box contains vegan ingredients to help you enjoy a balanced vegan lifestyle at home,” a spokesperson for Morrisons said.

“You’ll find fresh produce including fruit and vegetables, grains, nuts and vegan protein products like meat-free sausages and meatless mince.”

The supermarket noted that while its official image of the box features Morrisons pasta sauce, it will actually include Morrisons Passata.

‘Helpful for the vulnerable’

Vegan Food UK, an online organization sharing vegan food news, reviews, vlogs, and more on its Facebook group, Facebook page, YouTube channel, and Instagram account, shared an image of the box online.

The organization said: “The Morrisons food boxes are particularly helpful to vulnerable and self-isolating customers and those limiting trips outside the home. They can be ordered online and are delivered next day by contact-free courier.”
