Major airline has launched two new vegan dishes in response to the growing demand for animal-free food.

The new dishes will be available to order from July 29 and will be onboard on flights from August 2.

They include the All-Day Vegan Breakfast, featuring vegan sausage, rosti potatoes, and sautéed mushrooms in tomato sauce, and a Vegan Moroccan Vegetable Tagine served with couscous.

Vegan demand

“Customer feedback shows that there is strong demand for vegan options, so we are delighted to be introducing these two delicious meals, giving customers more choice on our award-winning airline,” Steve Heapy, CEO of and Jet2holidays, said in a statement.

“We are always looking at ways in which we can develop our offering and VIP customer experience, and we are sure that these new pre-ordered meals will be just as popular as the exciting in-flight menu changes that we have already announced this year.”

The new meals join’s first-ever vegan option – Penne Arrabbiata – which it launched in January.
