Massive pro-vegan bus adverts saying ‘Lose Your Veganity’ have been spotted on buses in London and Sheffield.
The posters are part of a campaign celebrating the launch of BISH BASH BOSH! – the second book by vegan food duo BOSH! aka Henry Firth and Ian Theasby.
Firth and Theasby released their first book BOSH! in April 2018. The bestselling vegan cookbook and Sunday Times Number 1 Bestseller is currently celebrating 52 weeks in the UK Top 20 Food & Drink Book Charts.
Vegan food is mainstream
Firth and Theasby spoke to Plant Based News about the success of their first book last year, after it had spent several weeks in the bestseller lists.
“We’re excited and honored by the overwhelmingly positive response to our first cookbook,” the said. “That this was the fastest-selling cookbook of 2018 (not just the biggest vegan cookbook) shows just how much perceptions are changing.
“It now feels archaic to describe vegan food as dull and boring. So many great people are doing great work to make vegan food mainstream. Just three years after we went vegan we’re so pleased to see many restaurants now have vegan menus, vegan street food is the best in the UK and even supermarkets are offering vegan ranges.”
BISH BASH BOSH!
Firth and Theasby released their second book this month, at the UK’s largest vegan food festival, Vegan Nights with over 3000 vegans, foodies and festival lovers. BISH BASH BOSH! earned them their second Sunday Times Bestseller after just three days of sales.
“With growing concerns over climate change, including the Extinction Rebellion movement and Sir David Attenborough’s stern warning in his most recent documentary for the BBC, scientists unanimously agree that one of the most important things that individuals can do to reduce their carbon footprint is to cut out more meat and dairy from their diets,” a spokesperson told PBN.
“For those wanting to incorporate more plants on their plates, without compromising on taste, BOSH! have got you covered.”
