A new vegan burger joint will open its doors in London next month – the first in the world to specialize in the plant-based Beyond Burger.
Halo Burger, which founders describe as ‘a new spin on fast food, pairing a nostalgic experience with good vibes and great tunes’, will open at POP Brixton.
The outlet will run a soft launch from November 28 until December 5. It will give away 100 free signature Halo Burgers on the 28 between 12pm and 10pm, then offer 50 percent off food for the rest of the week.
Vegan menu
The menu includes the Halo Burger, Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Cheeseburger, Hamburger, and Pink Salt Fries.
The Halo Burger features two 1/8lb hand-formed patties layered with diced white onion, vegan American-style cheese, a slice of beef tomato, lettuce and signature house-made sauce.
Vegan is better
“Everything at Halo Burger is created to do better, be better and taste better,” a spokesperson told Plant Based News.
“By dining at Halo Burger, you can enjoy delicious food crafted with elevated ingredients such as Himalayan Pink Salt with its 82 trace minerals.
“Halo Burger isn’t here to be the next health fad, it’s here to give you what you crave, help you reduce your impact on the planet all while still fueling your passion for great tasting food all at an affordable price.”
