Celebrity
make-up artist Carrie Jones has opened the doors to Liverpool’s first fully
vegan and cruelty-free beauty studio.
Jones,
who is known for her work with P!nk, David Guetta, Olly Murs, and Gok Wan, recently launched the make-up studio – called ‘Unpretty’ – in the Wavertree area of the city.
Unpretty is ‘all about enhancing natural
beauty and promoting individuality, while also keeping it vegan and cruelty-free’, she told local news outlet Liverpool
Echo.
Studio
The
studio will feature independent make-up brands, as part of a ‘UnprettyX’
series which will see lesser known brands take up ‘pop-up’ space in the salon.
Jones,
who is originally from London, has decided on open Unpretty in Liverpool, as
the city ‘has her heart’.
“I
couldn’t think of anywhere I would rather set up,” she added. “After
many years in London, I am very pleased to now call Liverpool home.
“The
city is really unique and I can’t wait to work with some of the amazing people
here.”
