Kylie Jenner is launching a new vegan and cruelty-free skincare in the US line later this month.

The Kylie Skin range will be available to buy from May 22. An image of the line suggests that the range will feature seven products including cleanser, serum, moisturizer, and eye cream.

Prices will range from $20 for the eye cream to $125 for the whole set.

Vegan skincare

“Skincare and makeup go hand in hand, and Kylie Skin was something I dreamt up soon after Kylie Cosmetics,” Jenner announced on Instagram. “I’ve been working on this for what feels like a lifetime so I can’t believe I’m finally announcing!

“Building my makeup line from the ground up has taught me a lot, and I’m so blessed with that knowledge to apply to my brand new company. Birthing a whole new team, manufacturing, fulfillment separate from my cosmetics line was challenging but here we are!

“I got the best of the best for you guys! Everything is cruelty-free, vegan, gluten-free, paraben and sulfate free and suitable for all skin types.”

Vegan beauty

Jenner’s line launches as consumer interest in vegan beauty is growing – with a 2018 report by global information company The NPD Group showing that sales of vegan beauty products grew by 38 percent between 2017-2018.

“There has certainly been a rise in the number of vegan brands in prestige beauty and this coincides with consumers adopting a more conscientious approach when purchasing products, looking closely at the underlying philosophies and actions of the brands,” Helen Duxbury, Senior Account Manager, NPD UK Beauty said.

“They not only investigate ingredients and efficacy, they want to know about traceability, and how animal-friendly they are…The popularity of vegan is undeniable and brands are now capitalizing on the movement.”
