UK cafe giant Pret a Manger have just announced that they’ll be opening a second all vegetarian and vegan shop in London.
Unlike the first Veggie Pret, which started as a temporary popup before becoming permanent after an extremely positive reception, this one will be permanent from its inception.
It will located on Great Eastern Street in Shoreditch, an area in East London where there are several vegan eateries such as Cook Daily, Fed By Water, Home, What The Pitta and Redemption Shoreditch.
“A lot of Pret staff wanted their shops to go Veggie, but Great Eastern St got the call up based on the high levels of vegetarian sales in the area.”
The shop will be open from Tuesday 4th April.
“We’ll open Great Eastern Street with 20 new recipes on the menu, including a vegan Macaroni Cheese – which has taken our team the best part of a year to perfect – and a vegan chocolate brownie.”
