Popular UK
juice and smoothie brand, Innocent Drinks, is releasing three plant based milks
– with super simple ingredients.

The new
offerings include oat, almond, and hazelnut milk, which come in resealable
plastic bottles – as opposed to the tetra packs or cartons most dairy
alternatives come in.

Simple
ingredients

Known for
making juices and smoothies with minimal ingredients, the brand’s new vegan
milks follow suit.

The almond
and oat milk have just three ingredients – the only additions are water and
salt.

The
hazelnut milk has water, salt, and organic rice, which is added to achieve a creamy
consistency.

‘Top
priority’

Innocent
Drinks’ UK and Ireland managing director, Nick Canney told The Grocer the dairy
alternatives market is one of the company’s ‘top priorities for 2018’, saying
the new milks are ‘just the beginning’.

‘Really
proud’

The bottles
are at least 30 percent recycled, nontoxic plastic – and can be recycled after
use.

Canney said: “We set ourselves a huge challenge to produce a great tasting and great looking
product in a PET bottle without using any artificial additives.

“We’re
really proud of what we produced.”
