Iceland Vegan Christmas Range Includes Chocolate Melt Pudding And Duck Rolls

UK supermarket Iceland has launched an array of festive vegan dishes for 2019.

Among the line-up are No Duck Spring Rolls, featuring jackfruit and hoisin sauce, mini No Bull Burger Sliders, and Iceland’s Tempura Vegetable Selection with tempura battered baby corn, green beans, courgette, and pumpkin.

As a dessert option, the store is offering new No Moo Chocolate Snowflakes, single-portion snowflake-shaped puddings. These feature a dairy-free chocolate shell filled with a melting chocolate center.

Iceland launched a slew of vegan products in 2018, saying there was huge demand from customers. Speaking about the range, Iceland’s Head Chef Neil Nugent told The Guardian: “We had tremendous success with the No Bull Burger and it’s clear our customers want more from us.

“In creating this range, we have embraced the nation’s love for alternative plant-based foods in an innovative and exciting way.

“The growth of the vegan food market in the UK has been rapid, with 56 percent of adults now saying that they are adopting vegan behavior when conducting their supermarket shop.”
