High Street Favorite Itsu Adds New Vegan Dishes To Menu

UK Asian-inspired food chain itsu has launched five new vegan dishes in celebration of World Vegan Day on November 1.

The eatery added the new vegan options to its hot food menu in response to the shift toward meat-free diets.

The new dishes are: Quinoa and Falafel Veg Bowl, Veggie Gyoza Noodles, Detox Miso Soup, Classic Miso Soup, and Vegetable Fusion Gyoza.

Demand

itsu has revelead that its veggie sales have doubled since 2015, with 20 percent of all sales now coming from meat-free products.

The food chain has also commissioned a survey, which found that half of millennials are considering giving up meat – and it is now addressing the demand.
