Department store Selfridges will start stocking a new vegan pudding line in January.

Norty Puds, which was started by vegan chef Elspeth Humm, features raw desserts in glass jars.

They are soy-free, gluten-free and free from refined sugars.

The puddings come in three flavors – Banoffee, Salted Chocolate, and Chocolate Orange.

According to Norty Puds, the desserts – which are currently available online and in cafes in Bristol – are handmade in small batches.

They retail online for £3.50 each.

Vegan retail

Selfridges joins a host of mainstream retailers in adding more vegan products to its shelves.

Supermarket Tesco launched one of the biggest plant-based ranges on offer earlier this year, with its Wicked Kitchen line.

Since then, supermarkets including Waitrose, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, and Asda have all added animal-free options to their shelves.
