A
fully-vegan grocery store – Up Beet Market – has arrived in Wilmington, North
Carolina.

Offerings

The shop
currently offers vegan staples, and specialty products such as meat and dairy
alternatives.

In the
future, owner Jess Marler plans to expand its selection to include more plant-based products.

Streamlining

Up Beet
Market aims to streamline the shopping process for those seeking
plant-based groceries and specialty products – eliminating the need for trips
to multiple stores.

Marler said: “It’s super frustrating when at the end of the
day you want to pop in, grab a few things for a meal and go home.

“You
double all of your trips just trying to hunt down the vegan version.”
