Essex-based crisp brand Fairfields Farm has announced the launch of its latest plant-based product, Roast Rib Of Beef.
The family-run company announced the news this week, stating: “Our hand-cooked crisps will fill your mid-week craving for a roast dinner.”
Renewable energy
Fairfield Farm’s potatoes are grown on a farm using renewable energy before they’re turned into crisps inside the factory on-site.
To create the beef flavoring, the company uses ingredients such as onion powder, sugar, paprika, and rice flour.
‘So many requests’
Co-founder, Laura Strathern, told the Daily Gazette: “We’ve had so many requests to launch a roast beef flavor, however, our vegan customers are very important to us, so we wanted to ensure that whatever we created would appeal to both meat-eaters and those following a plant-based diet.”
Availability
The Roast Rib of Beef is not the company’s only vegan flavor of crisps and follows the Bacon and Tomato, Sweet Chilli, and Salted additions already available.
All of Fairfield Farm’s products are available online and from selected Co-op stores.
