Fast-food giant Pizza Hut has partnered Beyond Meat to create two pizza toppings it will trial in the U.S and U.K.
The chain will offer two pies with the vegan topping; the Beyond Italian Sausage Pizza and the Great Beyond Pizza.
Pizza Hut does not yet offer vegan cheese in the U.S. But customers can add the topping to any of its pizzas. As a result, vegans can opt for cheeseless pies with Beyond Meat on top.
Beyond Meat and Pizza Hut
The new Beyond Pan Pizzas include the Beyond Italian Sausage Pizza: Pizza Hut’s classic cheese pizza topped with plant-based Beyond Italian Sausage crumbles.
The other option is The Great Beyond Pizza: a specialty pizza with veggie toppings including tomatoes, sliced red onions, and banana peppers.
Pizza Hut flavors
David Graves is chief brand officer of Pizza Hut. In a statement sent to PBN, he said: “I’d challenge anyone to try the Beyond Pan Pizza and tell the difference. I shared it with friends
and family, and they couldn’t.
“The Beyond Italian sausage is rich, juicy and has the signature Pizza Hut flavors. Pizza lovers everywhere are going to love it.”

Beyond Meat
Beyond Meat founder and CEO Ethan Brown added:”Our partnership with Pizza Hut is a category first.
“Together we will continue to raise the bar on game-changing product innovations as we introduce the delicious taste of Beyond Meat products to pizza fans nationwide.
“We’re thrilled to be on this journey with Pizza Hut. It enables us to further increase access to better-for-you plant-based meat as we continue to expand our partnership with Yum! Brands.”
Availability
The two pizzas are available at this point across the U.S while supplies last. They are available for contactless delivery, carryout, and curbside pickup.
Select Pizza Hut outlets in London, Luton and Liverpool will be offering the topping. It launches from today as part of a limited-time offering. The pizzas will be available only through delivery and takeaway in both countries.
