Reading Time: 3 minutes

Asda recently revealed that it is launching an ambient vegan food aisle in 359 of its stores.

The move follows a surge in customer interest in animal-free options, with searches for vegan foods skyrocketing on Asda’s website by 275 percent in the last year.

In addition to launching the new plant-based aisle, the retail giant will be adding more than 100 new vegan ambient foods – shelf-stable products that do not require refrigeration – to these areas, including new products from Galaxy and BOSH among others.

‘Save customer time’

Talking about the new aisles, Asda buying manager Sarah Thornewill, said: “We understand that customers want a quick and simple shopping experience, and this shouldn’t be restricted by dietary requirements.

“By merchandising all our vegan items together, we hope to save customers time and offer inspiration, whether for those following a plant-based diet, or those looking to reduce their meat consumption.”

Full list of Asda stores with vegan aisles

While the store initially announced that a number of outlets would offer the new areas, it didn’t specify which.

Now a full list is available so you can find your closest outlet with the vegan aisles.
