A vegan products-only supermarket will make its debut in Australia’s Gold Coast this week.

The Vegan Aisle, which is located in Tweed Heads, will be opening its doors today.

Co-owners Brett Page and James Denney believe the fully plant-based store will fill a gap in the foodie market as a ‘one-stop shop’ for vegans.

The owners also mentioned that they focused on offering products not generally found in standard supermarkets.

“It’s fully vegan, people don’t need to check the labels,” Page told news outlet Gold Coast Bulletin.

“For instance, we’ve found a great pesto aioli from Melbourne, you can’t get that anywhere. We’re trying to find up-and-coming vegan products.”

Page also added that they are planning to offer online shopping in the near future.

The Vegan Aisle will stock a wide range of products, including vegan cheeses, chocolate, household items, nuts, and fresh produce.
