Plant-based
brand Field Roast has released three creamy new sauces – which major vegan publication VegNews has described as ‘absolutely delicious’.
The company
has added Bold and Tangy Thousand Island, Classic Caesar, and Cracked
Peppercorn Ranch Dressing and Dip to its range.
‘Delightful’ flavors
The company
– also creators of the massively-popular cheese substitute Chao and a variety
of vegan meats – has set out to deliver products unique to its brand.
Field Roast
said: “Instead of making fake dairy products that mimic the traditional flavors
found there, we have innovated new flavors to delight and inspire you, and
extend that to creamy spreads, sauces, and dressings.”
Fully vegan range
While the
company is currently owned by meat industry giant, Maple Leaf Foods, it remains
fully vegan – offering plant-based adaptation of such foods like mac ‘n’ cheese, corn
dogs, sausages, roasts, and sandwich meats.
