Another vegan market will be launching in London this Sunday – in Islington.
Coming to Nag’s Head in Holloway, Islington Vegan Market will be opening in a bid to catch up with the Hackney and Camden areas – which are known for their popular animal-free markets.
Ten traders have already joined the line-up, which includes a French patisserie, an Indian kitchen, non-dairy ice cream, jackfruit, and cruelty-free beauty.
The market is set to run on the first and third Sundays of the month, with plans of running every Sunday in the future.

“We want Islington to catch up with Hackney, which is the vegan capital of the world,” the organizers told local news outlet Islington Gazette.
Manpreet Singh, who runs Nag’s Head Market and also backed the project said: “The idea is to help vegan traders, especially those from Islington and north London.
“And it’s also important to support the lifestyle. Even if you don’t think about the ethics of eating meat and dairy, a plant-based diet ?really makes a difference. Look at the state of the environment – we really need to look at the way humans are eating.
“We want to show how there are alternatives, and that veganism is affordable and really tasty.”
Islington Vegan Market runs from 10am to 6pm on Sunday.
