Popular
international pizza chain Domino’s has hinted via social media at adding a
cheese-topped garlic bread to the menu at Australian locations.

Vegan Cheesy Garlic Bread

The post,
shared to the Domino’s Australia Facebook page, shows a picture of the chain’s
garlic bread – alongside a request for consumer input.

The caption
reads: “We know that Garlic Bread has been a staple for
our Vegan customers for a while now.

“Should a Vegan Cheesy Garlic Bread make it to
our menu…?”

Increasing
demand

The company
currently offers vegan cheese as a permanent menu add-on in Australia and
Israel, and has been petitioned to offer the plant-based alternative at US
locations.

The
addition of vegan cheese in Australia was reportedly due to overwhelming demand.

The CEO for Domino’s Australia and New Zealand,
Nick Knight said: “The popularity of, and demand
for, vegan products has increased considerably over the years so it’s great we
are now able to offer this high quality, non-GMO, plant-based and
preservative-free vegan cheese.”
