Mexican fast-food restaurant Del Taco has launched two new vegan-friendly Beyond Meat burritos.

The two burritos – weighing in at around a pound each – are part of its new Epic Beyond menu, featuring four new options (two contain dairy).

New Epic Beyond vegan burritos

The New Epic Beyond Original Mex Burrito, which is suitable for vegans, features slow-cooked beans, cilantro-lime rice, fresh guacamole, pico de gallo, and Beyond Meat wrapped in an oversized flour tortilla.

The New Epic Beyond Fresh Avocado Burrito, which is also suitable for vegans, is an oversized flour tortilla filled with sliced avocado, pico de gallo, salsa casera, cilantro-lime rice, seasoned black beans, and Beyond Meat.

Free delivery

To celebrate its new menu, Del Taco has partnered food delivery service Doordash, and is offering free delivery on all orders over the fourth of July weekend (July 3-5).

“This Fourth of July weekend, plant-based fans will be able to celebrate with one of the largest menus of plant-based items in the fast-food category thanks to the new Beyond Meat Epic Burritos we have added to the Del Taco menu,” said Tim Hackbardt, Del Taco’s Chief Marketing Officer.

“As an added bonus, working with Beyond Meat and Doordash, we’re able to make it easy by offering free delivery with any Beyond Meat Epic Burrito order through Doordash”
