A major online supermarket is launching plant-based bacon and chicken made by U.K. brand THIS™.

The company’s full range* will be available from Milk & More – one of the UK’s largest online supermarkets – which is owned by dairy behemoth, Müller.

Milk & More has a customer base of more than 500,000 across the UK -which THIS says will help in achieving its mission of ‘shattering meat-eaters’ preconceptions of plant-based food, one rasher or nugget at a time’.

‘History in the making’

According to THIS, the listing is ‘breaking down barriers between plant-based and animal-based products’ as the outlet was ‘originally created to deliver dairy’.

In a statement sent to Plant Based News, THIS co-founder Andy Shovel, said: “The launch into Milk & More marks a watershed moment for THIS™.

“It’s one thing for us to be listed in the nation’s supermarkets, but how cool that we’re going to be working with a legacy dairy distributor. It feels like our own little part of history in the making.”

THIS is currently available from a range of retailers – including Waitrose, Ocado, and Tesco among others – and major eateries including Honest Burger, Pho, and Coco di Mama.
