Cult beauty brand Milk Makeup has announced it is now 100 percent vegan.

The brand, which was created in 2016, has never been tested on animals.

Now it has taken its cruelty-free credentials all the way, by ditching all animal products from its formulations.

Synthetic

According to Milk Makeup CEO and Co-founder Dianna Ruth: “There is no animal product or byproduct that doesn’t have a safe natural or synthetic alternative.”

Products including collagen, gelatin, beeswax and lanolin have been replaced with plant-based ingredients including avocado oil and mango butter.

According to an announcement by Milk: “From day one, we’ve cared just as much about what we put in our products as what we don’t.

“We’re cruelty-free, paraben-free and 100 percent vegan.”
