Dairy-free brand, Califia Farms, is to launch a vegan oat milk line in the Spring, dubbed ‘Übermilk’.
The line has three different varieties – Unsweetened, Unsweetened Vanilla and Chocolate – and will be available nationwide at Whole Foods Market stores in the US.
Nutritionally dense
Founder and CEO of Califia Farms, Greg Steltenpohl, said: “Nutritionally, Übermilk is one of the more nutrient dense plant milk on the broader market with a powerful combination of both macro and micronutrients.
“Most importantly it wins on taste and texture, thanks to our naturally creamy and great-tasting oat milk serving as the base.”
45% more calcium than dairy milk
Übermilk contains 45 percent more calcium than dairy milk, delivers the same level of potassium as a medium banana, and contains 8g of protein per serving.
The dairy-free alternative is also a good source of Vitamin D and Vitamin E, is rich in essential fatty acids from flax and sunflower oil, and contains all eight essential amino acids.
