BOSH!’s debut cookbook is the fastest-selling cookery book of 2018 according to Nielsen BookScan, and the fastest-selling title of its kind since records began.
Written by the foodie duo behind BOSH! – Henry Firth and Ian Theasby – BOSH!: Simple Recipes. Amazing Food. All Plants., which is currently topping WH Smiths’ non-fiction chart, was released on April 19.
It has won praise from celebrities and influencers including Pamela Anderson and The Hairy Bikers, who dubbed it ‘really great’. The title has been described as ‘breakout’ by its publishers at HarperCollins, with HQ Marketing Director Joanna Rose adding that its content is ‘fresh, creative and tempting’.
‘Excited and honored’
“We’re excited and honored by the overwhelmingly positive response to our first cookbook,” Firth and Theasby told Plant Based News: “That this was the fastest-selling cookbook of 2018 (not just the biggest vegan cookbook) shows just how much perceptions are changing.
“It now feels archaic to describe vegan food as dull and boring. So many great people are doing great work to make vegan food mainstream.
“Just three years after we went vegan we’re so pleased to see many restaurants now have vegan menus, vegan street food is the best in the UK and even supermarkets are offering vegan ranges.”

BOSH! were quick to credit other innovators within the vegan sphere – as well as their own burgeoning fan base – for the success of the title.
