Iconic cooking duo BOSH!, comprised of Henry Firth and Ian Theasby, have launched a range of vegan cake mixes in major U.K retailer Waitrose.

The pair, which recently revealed their first vegan cookbook has sold more than 300,000 copies, made the announcement on Instagram.

‘Magical boxes’

“From this week, you’ll be able to get your hands on these magical boxes that contain an incredibly quick and easy cake mix… They’re bound to pop a satisfied smile on your face.” BOSH! said.

“Keep your eyes peeled for these beauties in Waitrose stores all around the U.K! Let us know which one you have your eyes on… These mixes are incredibly easy and speedy to make.”

The three product range includes Lemon Fizzle Cupcakes (£3.49), Epic Chocolate Fudge Cake (£3.49), and Bangin’ Brownies (£2.49).

Vegan cake range

Earlier this year, BOSH! launched a range of vegan pre-made cakes into major U.K supermarkets.

The pair debuted their Ultimate Chocolate Cake and Luscious Lemon Cake (RRP £3.50) and the Chocolate Happy Birthday Cake and Vanilla Happy Birthday Cake (RRP £8.00).

“We can’t believe we’re launching our very own BOSH! range of cakes into supermarkets. Finally, tasty vegan-friendly cakes are easily accessible to everyone.” Firth and Theasby, said in a statement sent to Plant Based News.

We’re passionate about spreading the word that a plant-based diet doesn’t have to be restrictive or boring. As well as encouraging people to explore and develop their vegan cooking skills, we want to reassure people that delicious vegan food is available to all and easy to find on the shelves.

“Being able to pop one of our new cakes in your shopping trolley means you can be ready for any occasion, worthy of celebration, and ensure that everyone is catered for – and above all, enjoy seriously tasty vegan-friendly food!”
