High street store Boots has added four vegan options to its range of sandwiches and salads.

The new items – which are all included in the retailer’s famous meal deal – are limited edition, though Boots has yet to confirm when it will stop selling the items.

Range

Included in the range is a Coronation Veggies Sandwich, Tandoori Style Beetroot Flatbread, Samosa Style Veggie Wrap and Sweet Potato Falafel Grain Box.

The coronation sandwich features roasted and spiced cauliflower along with carrots and chickpeas, drizzled in a coronation dressing, on malted bread.

The tandoori flatbread has veggies including chickpeas, tomato, and onion alongside beetroot and tikka houmous wrapped in a wheat khobez flatbread.

The samosa wrap packs in an onion and potato bhaji with spiced pumpkin, sweet potato, peas, carrots and chilli with vegan mayo in a wheat tortilla wrap.

Sweet potato falafel and avocado hummus mixed up with grains makes up the salad box.

All items count as one of your five-a-day servings of fruit or vegetables.

They cost between £2.75 and £3.35.
